35+ years of litigation experience
Florida certified circuit civil mediator
Florida qualified court-appointed arbitrator
Welcome… and thank you for considering Denny Morgenstern, PLLC. The aim of our alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) practice is to promote the final resolution of claims and disputes, while also reducing the delay, expenses, stress and uncertainty associated with litigation.
The recent coronavirus outbreak has pushed more attorneys and insurance companies to transition to remote work and, as such, we also provide our services remotely via Zoom. Zoom is an extremely popular and easy to use video-teleconferencing app that is both secure and private. This video-conferencing service will allow us to remotely provide you with our full mediation and arbitration services. You simple select for your appointment to be done via video conference, and you are all set.
After 35+ years of active civil litigation experience, Mr. Morgenstern now limits his practice to providing mediation and arbitration services.
Mr. Morgenstern will provide these ADR services at any central Florida locations (generally in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Polk and Manatee counties) on which the parties agree. Hillsborough County mediations and arbitrations will generally be held at a court reporter’s office (usually at Michael Musetta & Associates in the Tampa City Center, 200 N. Franklin Street, Suite 3400, in downtown Tampa), unless the parties agree to conduct the mediation or arbitration at another mutually agreeable location. Mediations or arbitrations, outside of Hillsborough County will generally be held at locations mutually agreeable to the parties and their attorneys. If the parties and their attorneys cannot agree on a location, Mr. Morgenstern will arrange an appropriate facility reasonably convenient to the parties and their attorneys. (NOTE: There is no additional charge to the parties for holding mediations at any court reporter offices or other facilities arranged by Mr. Morgenstern.)
Prior to any mediation, Mr. Morgenstern will need a copy of the Notice of Mediation and the parties’ Rule 1.720, Fla. R. Civ. P., Certification of Authority, if the claim is in suit. Mediation and arbitration summaries are welcome and will be reviewed prior to the mediation and/or arbitration. All notices, certifications and summaries should be sent to us via email and/or fax.
